Before you search the bedroom
This item belongs to the apartment chapter, after the office and elevator. It is not a prison-cell item. Follow the food and power objectives first; finding the telephone early does not skip those dependencies.
Food and power
Find the cup noodles and use the kitchen kettle. When the power fails, inspect the fuse box.
Bedroom access
Pick up the loose door handle near the fuse box. Use it on the bedroom door's missing fitting.
Receiver and call
Search the closet, return to the telephone, and complete the pizza call.

The missing part is not beside the telephone. Look in the room that cannot be opened until you replace its handle.

Search the bedroom storage rather than the bed. Look down into the closet, around the small boxes and hanging clothes.

Open the bedroom
Inspect the fuse-box area and collect the door handle. Select it from the backpack and attach it to the bedroom door, then enter.
Take the receiver
Face the bedroom closet. Scan the lower storage area among the boxes and hanging clothes. Center the receiver until its interaction prompt appears, then pick it up.
Repair the telephone
Return to the home phone. Select the receiver from the inventory and use it on the phone base. Finish any interaction animation before using the keypad.
Order the pizza
Dial 2445557437 (written as 244-555-7437). Complete the call and wait for the next objective. This phone number is fixed; it is unrelated to the prison's randomized code.
Receiver or phone not responding?
The bedroom is still locked
Finding the fuse box is not the same as collecting the handle. Check your backpack, then use the handle on the door fitting.
I can see the receiver but cannot pick it up
Leave inspection mode, re-center the object, and approach from a different angle. Verify that the game has input focus. If a controller cursor is frozen, check the Virtual Mouse Speed setting or reset the game controls.
The number does not advance the objective
Confirm the receiver is attached, enter all ten digits in order, and allow the call dialogue to finish. Do not enter a prison code here. Reload only after checking the current objective and inventory; starting a new run can discard progress.
