Restricted attraction / Entry notes

A restricted story attraction where every familiar signal can change

RWBY Rise of the White Fang enters Frankie's archive as an adults-only fan visual novel rather than a reflex ride. CorrhenGames sets version 0.4 after Salem's defeat, when Team RWBY has earned a peace that proves vulnerable to a new power struggle, a returning threat, and a White Fang corruption campaign. The attraction is built from dialogue, framing, character reactions, and gradual changes in what each heroine knows or accepts. The best first visit therefore moves at reading speed. Let the story establish why an image matters before treating it as a collectible scene.

This player is an independent browser conversion of the supplied public PC package. It is not an official RWBY release or an official HTML5 edition. CorrhenGames' itch.io page remains the authoritative source for Windows, macOS, Android, development posts, and newer versions. The web build starts with a relatively compact Ren'Py engine and script archive. Hundreds of images and 188 WebM sequences then arrive progressively as their scenes open, so a first encounter can pause even when the rest of the page is already responsive.

The game contains explicit sexual content, corruption, mind-control, coercive themes, and other adult material. The launch art and illustrated notes on this page are non-explicit, but the game frame is for adults aged eighteen or older. The confirmation prevents an automatic media download; it cannot verify age, local law, privacy, or personal comfort. Enter only where the material is appropriate, and keep stopping, lowering volume, leaving fullscreen, or closing the attraction available at every point.

Exhibit note 01

The entrance promises a reunion before the exhibit begins dividing knowledge

The cover groups Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang inside one composition. That makes shared identity the attraction's opening promise. The story can then create tension without physically separating everyone: it only needs one character to receive a warning the others have not heard, one reaction to be misread, or one reassuring explanation to arrive from the person controlling access. Watch who is present for a conversation and who later acts on a summary. A summary can be accurate while omitting the detail that would have changed another person's decision.

For a first route, keep four small character notes rather than one Team RWBY meter. Write the last fact each heroine learned, the relationship under pressure, and one boundary that still appears intact. This is enough to recognize change without turning the story into administration. If a later reveal disproves the note, preserve the earlier entry and add the correction. The contrast shows how the visual novel managed information and lets the surprise remain part of your record rather than being erased by hindsight.

Exhibit note 02

The White Fang room uses recognition as part of the trap

A familiar mask can make a player feel informed before the current scene has supplied proof. It carries political history, violence, belonging, fear, and personal memory, especially for characters whose lives were directly shaped by the White Fang. The story can use that recognition honestly, or another actor can use it to provoke the response they want. When the symbol returns, ask who placed it, who saw it, what they inferred, and whether the next decision depends on evidence or on the urgency of the association.

This distinction matters in fan fiction because readers often arrive with extensive knowledge from the source material. Prior knowledge enriches a scene, but it can also fill deliberate gaps too quickly. Let version 0.4 state its own sequence. If you consult a wiki, use it to remember established context rather than to predict every reveal in CorrhenGames' alternate adult storyline. The attraction becomes flatter when every mask is treated as a label instead of a signal whose sender and purpose still need to be discovered.

Exhibit note 03

The control room is frightening because its result may look voluntary

The visible device gives the corruption plot a concrete piece of machinery, yet the important result is not limited to a button press. Watch what happens to vocabulary, confidence, loyalty, and the ability to refuse across a complete sequence. A character may repeat an idea using her own voice, which is precisely why the earlier baseline matters. Comparing her with herself is more reliable than searching for one universal facial expression or assuming that every later choice has the same cause.

Adult content can be part of that escalation. Do not detach an explicit scene from the power relationship that frames it unless you consciously choose to skip the story. The page does not require completion, and no archive badge is awarded for enduring material that feels wrong. If corruption or mind-control themes are personally difficult, use the public artwork and written summary to decide before launching. Protecting a visitor's freedom to leave is more important than completing an attraction built around fictional characters losing freedom.

Exhibit note 04

Confrontation is choreography even when the format is a visual novel

The Ilia and Yang frame suggests combat, but this page should not be approached like an action tutorial. Position, portrait choice, the order of dialogue, and the pause before a response all shape the conflict. Read the scene through questions of access and agency: who is allowed to explain, who interrupts, what information arrives too late, and which options remain available after the exchange. A confident stance can conceal a shrinking set of choices, while hesitation can be the last sign that a character is still evaluating pressure.

On replay, return to the earliest conversation that supports the question you want to test. Change one broad posture—trust, skepticism, confrontation, patience, or loyalty—and let the next sequence finish. Do not jump back during an animation simply because its first seconds look familiar. Ren'Py rollback is useful for recovering a line, not for guaranteeing that every media or route state has been cleanly restored. A named save before the scene produces a clearer comparison.

The first screening should answer interface questions, not reveal the whole route

Use the two embedded videos below selectively. A recording can show where dialogue history lives, how transitions look, and how the visual novel frames a confrontation. It may also reveal later scenes, follow another route, or come from a different revision. Start with a specific question and stop when it is answered. Watching an entire recording before playing can replace your own pacing and decisions with someone else's edited session, which removes much of the value of a plot-heavy release.

Video availability is independent from the game host. A privacy extension or institutional network can block YouTube while leaving the Ren'Py iframe available, or block the game subdomain while videos still work. Treat blank frames separately. Do not clear the game's site data to solve a video problem. The two services have different storage, loading, regional availability, and failure paths. This separation also means a successful video playback is not proof that the game host has authorized the surrounding page.

Exhibit note 06

Progressive delivery turns the first visit to each room into part of loading

The complete converted media collection is larger than one gigabyte, but the launch sequence does not force every file through the door at once. Ren'Py starts with the engine and a compact script archive. Images, audio, and 188 WebM files are requested when the current route needs them. The title screen can therefore appear quickly while a later location pauses the first time it opens. Keep the tab visible, allow the transfer to finish, and avoid repeated refreshes that restart work already in progress.

A current desktop Chrome, Edge, or Firefox browser provides the most dependable combination of WebAssembly, IndexedDB, and media support. Close other heavy tabs and do not run several copies of the game simultaneously. A phone may work in landscape, but its operating system can suspend a background tab or discard it under memory pressure. Save before switching apps. Mobile availability on the creator page does not prove that every device will handle this independent browser conversion in the same way as the native Android package.

Exhibit note 07

Save slots are backstage passes that should not all lead to the same door

Browser saves normally live in the game host's IndexedDB storage. They do not automatically merge with a Windows or Android save and may not follow you between parent websites, browser profiles, or private sessions. Keep one stable slot at the start of a chapter, one rolling slot for the current route, and one experimental slot before a decision. If Ren'Py offers Export Saves, create an external backup after meaningful progress. An exported file is easier to protect than a browser database managed by cleanup settings you may forget about.

Do not clear storage as a first repair step. If the frame becomes blank, wait for new media, click inside it, verify JavaScript and WebAssembly are allowed, check whether a blocker rejected the game subdomain, and reload once. When the failure repeats, note version 0.4, operating system, browser version, chapter, final visible line, and whether audio continued. That report is useful to a developer; “the game broke” discards the exact evidence needed to locate a media or script problem.

Exhibit note 08

Version 0.4 is an open wing, not the whole fun house

CorrhenGames lists the project as in development. The end of the current public build is therefore a release boundary, not confirmation that every planned route, heroine, conflict, or adult scene has reached a conclusion. If a plot thread remains open, record where version 0.4 stopped rather than searching for a hidden continuation that may not exist. A clear boundary protects players from wasting time and protects discussion from presenting speculation as a finished ending.

The official itch.io page is the correct place to check later versions, devlogs, platform downloads, and creator support links. This site should not become a substitute distribution channel for the full converted package. Share the page or the creator link instead of reposting assets, and label adult or story spoilers before discussing them. The RWBY property, characters, and imagery remain with their respective rights holders; the fan game belongs to its creator, and this archive entry only supplies an independent way to access the supplied public build.

Exhibit note 09

Leave the attraction with one question worth testing

A productive session does not need to unlock every scene. Before leaving, write one question: when did a character's language first change, which reassurance was never independently verified, or why did one symbol produce a faster reaction than another? Choose the save closest to that question for the next visit. This keeps replay connected to the story instead of turning it into random option selection. If the answer requires content beyond version 0.4, mark it unresolved and wait for the creator rather than inventing certainty.

The surrounding guide intentionally uses safe images and avoids an exact ending recipe. It is designed to preserve context, make the large browser session easier to handle, and help adults choose whether the content is appropriate. The game can still surprise, unsettle, or frustrate. Those reactions are not failures to optimize. They are reasons to slow down, protect your saves, and decide whether another visit serves the question you actually care about.
